Los Ángeles.- La película “Gravity” obtuvo 10 nominaciones al Óscar, de las cuales dos son para el mexicano Alfonso Cuarón, y una para su amigo y cinematógrafo Emmanuel Lubezki.
Las postulaciones que alcanzó la cinta del mexicano son: Mejor Película, Mejor Director (Cuarón), Mejor Actriz (Sandra Bullock), Mejor Fotografía (Emmanuel Lubezki), Mejor Edición (Cuarón y Mark Sanger), Música Original (Steven Price), Diseño de Producción, Edición de Sonido, Mezcla de Sonido y Efectos Especiales.
Previamente, ‘El Charolastra” recibió nominaciones al Óscar en las categorías de Mejor edición y Mejor Guión adaptado de la cinta “Children of Men” y Mejor Guión Original de la película “Tu Mamá También”.
Por su parte, este año Lubezki recibió su sexta nominación a la estatuilla dorada.
La nacida en México, Lupita Nyong’o, también obtuvo nominación en el apartado de Actriz de Reparto en la cinta “12 Years a Slave”.

La otra cinta que empató con el número de nominaciones de “Gravity” fue “American Hustle”.
Pero “Gravity” y “American Hustle” compitem con «12 Years a Slave», «Captain Phillips», «Her», «Nebraska», «Philomena», «Dallas Buyers Club» y «The Wolf of Wall Street.»
Los actores ignorados de la competencia fueron las dos veces ganadora del Óscar, Emma Thompson por su trabajo en “Saving Mr. Banks”, y el también dos veces ganador de la estatuilla dorada Tom Hanks por su interpretación en la cinta “Captain Phillips”.
Los ganadores de la edición 86 de la entrega del Óscar se darán a conocer en la tradicional ceremonia que se llevará a cabo en el Dobly Theatre el 2 de marzo.
